IB Abel is a 110-year-old electrical contractor based in York, Pennsylvania, with a plan to double the business over the next five years. It is hiring a hands-on Controller to lead accounting and build a finance function that can support that growth. The posting lists the role as hybrid.

• Lead and develop a team of 7 to 12 direct and indirect reports.
• Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end close and deliver accurate, on-time financial statements.
• Keep job cost reporting, WIP schedules, cost-to-complete estimates and revenue recognition accurate.
• Oversee AP, AR, cash receipts and the general ledger, and maintain policies and internal controls.
• Manage the annual audit, non-payroll tax filings and insurance renewal schedules.
• Drive automation and process improvements across close and accounting operations.
