Executive Chef – Airline Catering (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Abby’s Catering is a boutique airline catering company that prepares fresh, fine-dining meals for major international carriers. It is hiring a hands-on Executive Chef to lead its hot kitchen at the Houston IAH base. The chef reports to the Corporate Executive Chef. This is a floor-based leadership role, not a desk job, and the posting asks for bilingual English and Spanish.

• Lead sous chefs, line chefs, cooks and kitchen helpers, cooking alongside the team during production peaks.
• Mentor sous chefs into autonomous leaders, run practical hiring auditions and manage performance.
• Enforce strict food safety, customer specifications and quality audit standards.
• Drive profitability through food and labor cost controls.
• Lead menu presentations and Chef’s Table evaluations for current and prospective airline clients, and oversee batch recipes.
