Director of Operations – Mental Health Practice

Counseling Works is a behavioral health group practice with more than 30 clinicians and four offices in the Chicago suburbs. It is hiring a Director of Operations to own every operational team, process and metric, so clinicians can focus on client care. This hybrid role is based in Naperville and sits on the leadership team.

• Lead the operations team leads through weekly one-on-ones, department meetings, hiring and performance management.
• Design department KPIs and keep the operations scorecard and dashboards accurate.
• Oversee the full client journey, from marketing and referrals through intake, scheduling, eligibility, billing and credentialing.
• Document operations processes covering facilities, vendors, technology access, data security and HIPAA safeguards.
• Set quarterly operations Rocks and bring issues to the weekly leadership meeting.

The practice runs on EOS. You would own the operations side of its scorecard; EOS experience is a plus but not required. Candidates need at least three years of experience leading operations teams in healthcare, ideally outpatient or behavioral health.
