Producing Account Manager – Retirement Plan Consulting

LoVasco’s Retirement Plan Consulting Group acts as an outsourced Chief Retirement Officer for mid-sized employers. It helps 401(k) and 403(b) plan sponsors manage their fiduciary duties. The firm is hiring a Producing Account Manager in downtown Detroit. The role is business development first and account management second.

• Own a personal new-business goal: build a prospect list, run outreach, develop referral sources and close engagements with senior consultants.
• Lead a growing book of 401(k), 403(b) and pension clients through the firm’s fiduciary governance process.
• Report pipeline weekly in the team’s sales L10 meeting.
• Work with an analyst and a software engineer who support reporting and investment research.

The posting is direct that a candidate who cannot generate their own opportunities will not succeed in the seat. It reports to the managing director of the Retirement Plan Consulting team, and two senior consultants provide mentoring. Candidates should know, or be willing to learn, the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and Getting Things Done principles. Retirement plan or workplace savings experience is expected.
